Introdução à Teoria da Literatura

Sobre o curso

Este curso, gravado no campus de Yale em 2009, é uma pesquisa sobre as principais tendências da teoria literária no século XX. As palestras fornecem uma base para as leituras e as explicam quando necessário, enquanto tentam desenvolver um contexto amplo e coerente que incorpore perspectivas filosóficas e sociais nas questões recorrentes: o que é literatura, como é produzida, como pode ser entendida e qual é o seu propósito?

Paul H. Fry é professor de Inglês em Yale e se especializou em Romantismo Britânico, Teoria Literária e Literatura e as Artes Visuais. Estudou na Universidade da Califórnia em Berkeley e em Harvard e dá aulas em Yale desde 1971.
